Our activity include:
Up to now we have accomplished several measures, thus I'd like to name for You some of them:
August 1, 2001 Carried out Round Table Meeting relating topic "A view at democratic relations between Azerbaijan and Great Britain".
September 12-15, 2001 Conducted medical examination for the forced migrants (80 women and children) at Darnagul district, Baku city, Azerbaijan.
November 30,2001 Conducted an exhibition amongst children on topic " Drug-free world"
January 9,2002 Visited Orphan Asylum #2 ( houses 117 children) at Yeni Guneshli district, Baku city, Azerbaijan
Febriary - March, 2002 Educational TV programs were prepared and shown on TV channel SPACE. The aim of those programs was participation of the population (youth) in elections.
April 3,2002 Conducted a Public Opinion Poll amongst 1000 local citizens on topic "Great Britain with the eyes of Azeri people"
April 19,2002 Implemented an exhibition on topic "Great Britain with the eyes of Azeri children"
12 members of the society are volunteering at the Community Services Department of the Norway Refugee Committee (gym, computer, geography, history, drawing, traffic rules, English and Russian languages and 3 doctors).
5 September,2002 Visited Asylum for Disabled Kids #3 (houses 150 kids) in Mardakan village, Baku city, Azerbaijan
Beginning from January the society conducted English language courses on basis of "Streamline" program for the forced migrants and other needy part of population. At present the society provides post-operational medical care for the physically disabled children.
22 October Conducting of the round table for Youth Organizations of Azerbaijan with participation of the British Embassy officials.
8 November, 2002 Organizing of the British Ambassador visit to the refugee camp located in Beylagan area of the Respublic.
Begining of the November, 2002 Completing of the media monitoring that was conducted among 10 local newpapers.
